I've installed that kit, it requires 19" wheels because the calipers are too tall to clear an 18" wheel.

Yes, a variety of 18" APEX wheels do clear the AP 9668 BBK. Our wheels paired with those brakes is a pretty killer combo

E88 can fit if the proper version is chosen. E88's are made to order. One of the first questions I always ask is "what brakes do you have?". We specify the correct center to clear the brakes and yield the offset you are looking for.

Good choice on the Essex / AP Racing setup - they are absolutely marvelous
Not the EC-7 - but I have run Arc 8 in 18" x 10" ET25 & FL-5 in 18" x 10.5" ET22 with no issues with the 9668 kit. Last edited by OG Shark; 05-06-2019 at 02:35 PM.. |

You don't need to guess. Essex provides wheel templates that you can print out. The template is available on the page you linked. Here's the direct link to the template pdf:
https://www.essexparts.com/storage/w...CP9668-372.pdf The 9668 fits on a variety of 18" wheels. They fit on 18" Titan 7 T-R10 and Apex ARC-8 for me. But print out the template and there will be no guessing.

We have several brake kits dedicated specifically to the e9x chassis. You can see them here. As noted, we have wheel fitment templates for all kits. Let us know if we can be of assistance, as we are happy to provide guidance and answer questions. Thanks!

Unfortunately not. Our kit for the e9x chassis uses different components from our F8x kit, and the two are not interchangeable.
We also don't sell individual kit components separately. We did so early on in our program and it caused us a lot of problems. You can see a more detailed explanation on our blog: https://www.essexparts.com/news-blog...nts-separately Sorry and thanks for checking! |
