Fabspeed HFC /test pipes prices

Has anyone noticed the sharp increase of the Fabspeed “test pipes “ with the 200 cel HFC? It was $2200 up to last fall and all of a sudden it is $3700. Does anyone know why?

Holy crap- you arent kidding. I was looking at these, and the price seemed steep then. $3495 is nuts.

You could do what I am doing. The valvetronic catted X pipe has HJS 200 cell high flow cats, and is a much more reasonable price at $1200 bucks. They are currently sold out, but are supposed to have more in a month. If you e-mail them, they might let you do a pre-order, which is what I did.

Thank you!!!
I was really hoping to keep the stock xpipe but only replace the primary CATs with HFCs. I have the MPE already. So hoping for a bit more bass, but no rasp and no smell, and no CEL lights...

Best way to avoid CEL would be to get a street x pipe (after the stock primaries).

Challenge street x pipe might be up your alley and get the sound you want. It's basically a secondary cat delete.

I have heard some bad things about fabspeed such as pipes cracking. Curious as to why they increased pricing. Another reason to stay away.

In general, cost of Emissions Equipment/Catalytic Convertors has been on the rise due to China now requiring their manufacturers to install them from the factory. This is why prices are on the rise and theft is taking place throughout the U.S.

This is what I found on YouTube and you are right, the street RKP street x pipe is perhaps what I’m looking for. I wish I could hear it in person, but haven’t met anyone here in upstate NY with that set up.

Here is a video of MPE and challenge sport. I think the street would be a little more tame but I agree in person would be ideal.
