Selling Active Autowerke Gen. 2 E9X M3 exhaust. Taken off a 2011 M3, it was installed by the previous owner some time before 2016. At most, 38,000 miles on it as that was the mileage on the car when it was taken off. Sounds phenomenal when driven spiritedly but a little too loud around town for my preferences. Has a tiny drone between 1200-1800 RPM but was not obtrusive even at highway speed. Per the manufacturer's website, it affords a 5HP boost and weighs 40lbs vs. 55lbs for the stock system. Noise canceling chambers seem to work well as described.

Attached are photos from the listing when I purchased the car as well as photos after removal. Currently going for $1500 new, asking $1100. Willing to ship but would prefer local.

Pretty sure that's a first generation, I have the same. Gen 2 has flat-faced cans from what I can tell.

And yes, this exhaust does sound phenomenal!

x2 this is gen 1 not gen 2 exhaust, you can tell by the shape of the helmholtz chambers

Yes they are interchangeable between e90 and e92 they even adjust for real diffusior
