Removed the sticky and refinished my rear console cubby surround and cup holders. Going to remove my seat backs next to refinish the sticky plastic centers.

Touched up the powder coat on the wheels a little from the curb rash the PO did. Just used some gloss black touch up paint.

Still trying to figure out what lip and wheels to put on. Debating between GTS and GT4. And ARC-8 or FL-5. Kinda thinking the 18x9.5 et 28 FL-5 in the front with a 5mm spacer and 18x10.5 et 22 in the rear. I really dig the shallow lip in front and a little deeper for the back. But the square 18x10 ARC-8 is hard to beat.

I literally have a browser tab open with a replacement cup holder just waiting to be bought due to scratches... this is like some serious voodoo magic! How?!

Man I have an annoying rattle somewhere in the back on the highway. Sounds like it's coming from inside the trunk area, but who knows. Noises bounce around cars.

I was going the same route and thought- well, I can try to refinish it and if I screw it up I can just buy another. Just use the stuff I show and it’s really easy. Hardest part is disassembly.

Tips- if you use the citristrip, get the aerosol. Don’t use the gel. Spray it on, give it 5 to 10 minutes and the coating wipes right off. Do the work in a well ventilated area. Rinse the parts, let dry. Spray the adhesion promoter, wait 10 minutes. Hit the part with 2 to 3 light coats 10 to 20 min apart. I used a heat gun on the lowest setting to preheat the parts slightly to help with adhesion and then lightly to help dry. I may experiment with a matte clear if I do it again to help prevent future scratches but given how quick and easy it is, and the materials left over, a respray would be a quick repair especially since i won’t need to strip the sticky off again.

Is the coating similar to the soft-touch OEM?

Similar in appearance but not soft touch. It is a paint specifically formulated for plastic and vinyl.

PDC is parking distance control sensors. Like on the rear bumper. I think for painting you have to inquire directly.

PDC is for parking sensors. If your front bumper has them that's what you want. Mine doesn't

Paint is a separate option. You'll need to contact aeuroplug directly to set that up.

Do you know if that method would work on this? I can't stand looking at this anymore.
