ISO: E92 M3 6-speed diff
Looking for a 6speed differential. My output flange has a lot of play causing knock and leakage and was told I need a new unit.

I believe there's a shop in Duvall that does quality rebuilds

Yes, he is. He was just recommended to me by members of Avants Northwest the other day on Facebook. His name is Brendan McIntire.

Yea, I'm going to be honest with you, buying an entire new/used unit for a faulty flange is a waste of money, unless you're getting SEVERELY hooked up on price for the diff. A rebuild is much cheaper and definitely the way to go for your issue. As others have stated, there are a few people local to you that work on BMW differentials strictly and will help you out.
You definitely do not need an entire new unit. In the hands of a specialist you're paying TOPS 2 hours of labor.
