Some additional vibration could be felt in the driver seat between 3000 to 4000 RPM with aftermarket/stiffer motor mounts. This has been my experience with Vibratechnic street mounts. Overall, improved throttle response as well as a slight increase in engine sound too!
Strongly recommend VibraTechnic street mounts for a street car with occasional track use!

The PowerFlex mounts look interesting, and I wish I'd seen them before I bought Vibra-Tech. I had Vibra-Tech in my old E92 M3 and was very happy with them. Slight increase NVH @ idle, but honestly could be confirmation bias as I was looking for that.

Anyway, I went with VT again; but the PowerFlex ones look interesting as an alternative. Thank you for the original review.

TBH; anything reputable is better than the standard OEM ones.

Any new feedback or long-term review on these Powerflex mounts? About to pull the trigger soon cos my Vibra-technics mounts just died on me after 9k kms. Same failure mode as Mobbin experienced.

Have you tried BWs mount?

Interesting that your Vibratech mounts failed - I'll check mine next week as I'm changing the DCT oil.

The BW mounts are attractive price-wise but I've read that they introduce significant NVH and my car is a daily driver. But tbh, the main attraction for the Powerflex mounts right now are that they are serviceable and come with a lifetime warranty.

My passenger side VibraTechnic mount failed after 20,000 miles, driver's side was fine. I strongly feel that it's due to the close proximity of passenger side mount to the exhaust headers, excessive heat damaged the rubber in the mount.
I would get VibraTechnic again since they are sporty & still not harsh but would definitely install a heat shield around the passenger side mount to prevent heat damage.

Mine failed after 5.6k miles, Mobbin's failed after one track day. Both were the right hand side mounts. Even my stock mounts lasted 28k miles.

Powerflex mounts are rebuildable and come with a lifetime warranty. They are also not harsh for daily use. VT mounts do not have warranty/parts and VT also do not seem to be interested to reply customer emails. I do not see any reason to buy VT ever again.

Anyone wanna buy my left side VT mount for cheap? Used less than 6k miles. Lol.
