Will fix the connector later this week and check the fuses but seems like a lot of unlucky folks have had this happen after a battery swap.

Duralast H8-AGM. Should have been an identical drop in.

Still trying to figure out the proper registration process since I'm realizing the default E90 chassis isn't the same as the MSS60 settings which are all in German. I really don't want to have to spend another $100 on an app and a third dongle.

Trying to see if I can get ISTA working instead.

I have successfully used ISTA+ to register the E9x M3 battery and it worked on a E70 X5M too. Carly is a waste of time.

So I downloaded BMW Logger which says it can register the battery BUT since I broke the connector I'm not even going to try to register the battery until that's back in place. I don't think it's possible to register without that connection or I'd rather not try.

The ISTA+ files are so big it's going to take a few days for the free mega downloader to grab all the files.

I've gone through so many versions of the BMW tools only to realize it looks like nobody properly supports the MSS60 tools without it all being in German. I would've thought someone would've solved this by now given how good the E90 support seems to be for the other engines.

Snapped a quick photo of my baby with her winter shoes on as I was about to put her back in the garage.

BimmerLink claims to be able to register a battery, but that's another app and dongle probably.

When you connect the last pole, you usually see some sparks.

If there are sparks, there is high voltage.

It's for a short period of time, really short, but it is there.

Systems got have protection against that, but who knows.

Curious to know how the as3+ run on the m3. I've got them on my 335 and love them for their handling, tread wear and all seasonability. I run P4S on my M3 and often times wonder how those AS3s would fair.

No garage here either. I have 2 sets of wheels/tires in my basement and if I didn't have a basement I would keep them in my room. Lol
All seasons pretty much suck at everything, especially in the white stuff.

Pretty sure I also discovered my battery is original (from 2010) and it's given up the ghost. Leaving it on the tender overnight but leaving the car out in the cold with the power draining from getting in and out a bunch gave me a bunch of electrical gremlins including a tamper dot.

Tomorrow off to autozone for a new battery. If it lasted 10+ years god bless it.

How'd you polish the screen? Mine looks like yours and drives me crazy ... glass cleaner or nothing will make it even or without the haze ...

PS4s work great in WA. Rain and sun. Almost works all season basically lol. Only downfall if it gets too cold, snow, and of course ice.

This is what I used on my screen. Came out great and I added an iPad screen protector (trim to size) after. I only used step 1 and elbow grease on the screen.

Novus plastic polish.

New tires showed up at Costco today. Took advantage of their 20% off New Year's Day 1-day sale. Bought 6 Re71r for under $1500, taxes, mount & balance included.

If that can cause issues is it better to not disconnect the battery when plugging and unplugging the car's electronics?

That's why you put the snow wheels/tires in your house. I live in Boston and have no issues using my PS4s as three season tires.
