Aftermarket RB Wear

Backstory:

Guy purchased used car with 122,000 KM and went to replace bearings. These worn aftermarket ones came out. Still waiting for bin numbers from the side to see where they're from.. lots of wear for aftermarket though given the mileage is relatively low.

Will update when he lets use know what bearings they are.

He didn't specify as he wasn't sure when the previous owner replaced them, but the car has 122k KM.

According to the photos of the stamps on the backs of the bearings (posted on FB), these are original OEM BMW 088/089 shells.

So they're coated OEM bearings?

If the Facebook comment about them being 88s is correct, are they stock 88s or are they early vac as mentioned above? They look coated, but the pictures aren’t the best.

The photos posted show bearings stamped "<CL> 113" stamped on one side of the shell, and "088/089" stamped on the other side of the shell. The comment correctly points out that they are undeniably BMW shells. It's really hard to tell for sure if they're coated because the picture quality isn't so good; the picture makes them look coated, however... Coated bearings typically leave the coating on the parting lines that doesn't seem to wear off with use, and these shells seem to have clean parting lines without any residue. So who knows for sure.
