How do you guys not rub with some of these larger size tires?

My previous setup was 265/35/18 front, 295/30/18 rear and I had no rubbing, my new wheels are a square 275/35/18 which isn't a massive step up but I'm getting rubbing on all 4 corners where I used to have none. I think it's a rub from overall diameter being larger more than offset. I think it's just the liner and that will self clearance at some point but I was a bit surprised.

While the 295/30/19 has plenty of traction, the 305/30/19 has few more options.

I have personally ran 315s on a 10.5" wheel with little issues on my E90. I know Vin ( vma1788 ) also runs 315s. I don't see why 305/30r19s would be a major issue.

There are people who run 315/30R18 square but they have trimmed the fenders.

305/30R19 = 665.6mm diameter
315/30R18 = 646.2mm diameter (about 3/4" smaller)

Has anyone tried advan AO52 295/30 18 on 10.5 inch wheels?
I hear these tires run wide and this size would be ideal for 11 inch wheel, but then one needs to use a spacer which I don't like.

A tire that "runs wide" doesn't mean you need a wider wheel. Usually, it means compared to other tires with a similar size, the tread width is wider. So a 295 could be closer to a 305, but that doesn't mean you size the wheel like it is a 305, it is still a 295.

Advan recommends a 10 - 11 inch wheel, and the tread width of the tire is about 11.8 inches, so you should be fine on a 10.5.

You'll be just fine. I think quite a few people run this.

It seems for our cars the largest number of off the shelf options are 10.5" wide.

I'm slowly working to find just the right balance in my car which is still mostly a street car that I'd like to do some track time with. I've noticed that in the upper RPMs I have a fair bit of vibration which is to be expected given all the things done that would contribute but I'm trying to determine what I could change that might help reduce it a little.

Vibratechnics engine mounts
Group-N trans mounts
Solid diff and subframe bushings
Full SPL arms

My hunch says start with the engine or trans mounts.....thoughts? I'm not set on changing anything for sure but just looking to gather some info and think about what may be worth the effort to change.

Subframe mounts are for sure zero NVH. VT engine mounts add slight vibration at idle only.

I would say the culprit are the trans mounts. I'd try those first, plus they are the cheapest to try. 2nd I would try the diff mounts. That said, I have purple diff mounts and don't have any vibration, just diff whine at a specific speed range and is not rpm dependent.

Further research says the engine mounts are the race version....I think they have a street and race application?

Yeah they do. I have the street VT engine mounts. I'd still try the trans mounts first since they are well documented to cause a ton of NVH.

Does anyone have input on solid differential bushings? My car came with solid AKG Diff bushings but I can literally slide them out by hand. So I found the source of my clunk lol.

After some research AKG bushings are .5mm smaller than bimmerworlds, and .3mm smaller than vac which is alarming.

I want to put poly in there but I'm just wondering if the play had wallowed out all 3 differential sleeves, I'm waiting on a measurement from powerflex on the black ones.

I'd rather go solid, but my diff builder said it can cause excess wear in differentials going solid. What's all your guys experience with solid diff bushings long term?

I have been running Turners solid diff and subframe for two years now with no issues. And they def don't slide in or out by hand, they were a tight fit lol
