Track Day for 2021 at NYST

That's right! Our first event of the year is APRIL 23rd at NEW YORK SAFETY TRACK!
All who are interested please message me and we will get you in and ready for that festive day.
Helmets need to be Snell 2015 Certified or the new 2020's are out now!
***The NHRA rule book states that helmets with a 2015 certification don't expire until January 1st of 2027. 2020 certified helmets will expire 2032.

No more than 15 cars. Private event I'm co-hosting with a partner of mine. Pretty much open track day with instructions if needed by me👍🏻

Awesome, that sounds good.. Seat time at NYST definitely helps you alot! I love the technicality of that track.

Great track. I only went once last year, beautiful 60 degree fall weather. I had a frustrating day 1 there, walking the track you realize ho much compression there really is in those fast downhill transitions, then the patience to making it through as clean as possible for the 1/4 of the track. Great elevation changes, the straight you get a chance to stretch your legs and get some air through the car.

I chunked an RS4 (3 years old, plenty of tread but probably heat cycled and dried a bit, and I should have swapped the rights and to the left and visa versa like I typically do after the first day.

If you have a choice, come to NYST with a hard compound tire. This track eats up soft rubber and if you don't have camber over -3.0 you may be on the cords on an open track day way before the day is over.

If you go slower than ~1:46, come with what ever you want, makes no difference.
