The amount of haters are unreal. Now you mad that BMW made a cool little video that is not targeted towards your age group???? Some of you really think too highly of yourself. Just appreciate the nice cars in the video and be happy you can still get a Manual in a M3.

+1
So many cool M cars, gotta appreciate the fact that BMW is offering so much choice to its customers. And the G80 in frozen grey looks stunning.

Oh man, chill guys. If we reacted to every ad that we found stupid, we'd be walking around angry all the time. Save your anger for the actual products

I do have a couple of thoughts -

1. Not that I begrudge their hustle, but influencers starring in automaker commercials really emphasizes the point that these folks are independent marketing vehicles for companies - not a source for objective reviews or opinions.

2. I hope that BMW is just having a little fun and not actually planning to 'drop' merch in limited quantity releases like this hypebeast shit. Trying not to read too much into all this

You know the funny part. Had they screened this ad in front of a couple of hundred M owners before release they would have found that 80% would probably purchase that alarm clock, and so releasing the clock at the same time as the ad would have netted them a lot more than wheels.

Personally, I'd like to see them release one of those alarm clocks per M-car, so an E30 rpm gauge/sound bite clock, an E46 clock, etc. 11ty billion dollars is what they'd make.

Right - they look like a new variation on the 763M - like FI-R vs the CI-R.

Nothing that a little dremel action and plastidip can't handle 😂

It's all a bit tongue-in-cheek with the M-Town thing, so I'm sure they love the comments on here - the Easter eggs are awesome and the other stuff is exaggerated for attention - the ///Marketing team is having a blast

(If it were Tesla, Elon would have the alarm clock for sale on the website by now)

I agree, I think the marketing team is having a blast - it looks like they are driving BMW through a huge transitional phase and taking risks.

I bet we see an alarm clock released by Tesla with Tesla noises faster than BMW ever would/could haha!

I thought I commented on here before when I saw the vid earlier. I kinda thought it was pretty cool video. So many great Ms. Also thought it was fitting for M drivers, driving like maniacs around town hahaha well maybe not all M drivers drive like that

This video is amazing! So much eye candy. Well done BMW marketing. I'd hope they made a bunch of these. Need that alarm clock ⏰

But the spokes look terribly thick, and the holes look far from elegant. If that's a real wheel I certainly wouldn't purchase it over an FI-R, which is already dangerously close to the 763M in price for me.

I think it was supposed to be a half parody of how people would line up for a limited release of new kicks (i.e. shoes=rims) at the local Foot Locker. BMW fan equivalent of the new Air Jordans.

I thought it was unique and loved seeing all those different generations of M cars together.

Edit: Has anyone ever seen another rim with similar equivalent 3D design/depth? I think it really opens up a door to what might be possible in the future.

They should just include the alarm clock as an option when ordering your M3. Like the coat hanger accessories and floor mats and stuff. Just tick the box, add to order, maybe customize it with M3 / M4 / M5 etc badging and add a few different sounds (different exhaust notes maybe).

All this charade, expenses and hype just for a Rim that already exists but now offered in a tacky SEMA Bumblebee 🐝 paint job? Doesn't really make sense.

But I'm assuming we all prefer the nuggets. This is a big and costly 💰 production just for drips 💧 of potential future information.

That's a good question. Maybe the millennials are into the grilles whilst us 40 somethings are on the fence.
