FS: 2004 E46 M3 59k miles / Manual / 4.10 rear / Full NA
SOLD 2004 BMW M3 Titanium Silver Manual swap Base spec car(no cold weather, no HK, factory sunroof delete) 59k miles or thereabouts Located in Minnesota - car has not seen winter After looking over the market I'm asking $35k OBO Just finished putting this car together but a new business venture is forcing sale of some toys: this E46 M3 and a stock 38k mile E46 M3 LSB slicktop I will have up in a few weeks. This car will be submitted to BaT sometime this week as well, posting here as I would consider partial trades for a new winter daily(also sold my 2019 Golf R). If its AWD or at least winter appropriate I will consider it ![]() This is by far the best E46 M3 I've driven. Car made 340whp in 4th gear on 91 octane, probably a bit low considering 4th isn't 1:1 and the 4.10 also shows less power on a dynojet(and I normally run 93). Feels quite a bit quicker than a stock E9x, more in line with a tuned E9x in the 380-390whp range. Suspension was put together for the street, the Turner Hybrid plates are quiet and the Ohlins are comfortable on 95% of surfaces. Brakes are much better than before, would recommend pads for any track as these are good street pads that barely dust. Manual swap was performed with all oem parts aside from a Turner shift arm mount, shifts feel amazing. The MK60 has been programmed for the brakes and ZCP steering rack, which means M Track Mode works! Is the lsd stock? Or was it changed/rebuilt when the final drive was changed?
Also, who did the roof install and how long ago? Awesome car. Absolutely gorgeous. |

Roof was done by A&L Auto Body(aka IND Distribution) who know the platform well and I would trust. Not sure on the LSD, most I can say is it feels great and doesn't have low speed groaning. It really seems to load up the tire with grip in turns when power is being applied, more than a stock M3 or the 4.10 makes it feel that way. I suspect it was done by Performance Eurowerks during the subframe reinforcement. I did the manual swap, all the Supersprint parts, Turner airbox, brake setup, and Ohlins. All only have 1000 miles or less of use, so pretty much just finished up the break in. Anyone who is remotely local I recommend a drive, car feels very different next to a stock or lightly modified E46 M3. Complete hooligan! |
