I will be taking the x-pipe off my car tomorrow so I'll add pictures then. Replacing with a new xpipe as my ocd can't take the xpipe rattle when the car is cold. Price reflects this. Otherwise, great xpipe paired with a m performance exhaust. Almost** sounds like an exotic car. Located in Skokie, IL. Will have the item packed and ready for shipment after taking pictures. Willing to split the cost of shipping. Send offers. |

X-Pipe will be coming off on Friday for all who sent pms. I already got multiple offers to take it but I'm going to hold off until it's off the car and pictures are taken so there are no surprises when the xpipe is received.

If all the other offers to buy don't go thru, I'm 100% in. Thanks

just curious, was the middle mounting bracket just like that or you took off the rubber mounting bushing for the right side? If it was like that then that would rattle for sure.

Yeah so there were two types of rattles I heard. One of them, I knew came from one of the worn rubber bracket hanger which I replaced during the install of the new xpipe.
However, the specific rattle that I tried to capture in the videos, it sounds like it comes from inside the exhaust piping. Honestly after taking the challenge xpipe off, I can't mimic the same rattle I heard before so the x-pipe might be fine as-is and it just needed to be adjusted and re-tightened. I guess I'm giving out a deal haha. |
