Main bearings for S65 with increased size?
Anyone knows if any company is making main bearings with increased size?
My old engine suffered from main bearing fail and damaged the crank. I want to put it back in working order, but for that I will need mains that are thicker than standard. Any help, would be appreciated! |

King makes oversized bearings for ground cranks. This is not DIY stuff. You should discuss this with a machine shop experienced with the S65.
Personally, I would replace the crank and use standard size bearings. These are hardened cranks. If you grind the journals you'll need to have it hardened again. |
