I think you don't have to join the m2 forum if you're a member here already. Try sending him a message?

I have a question about these magnaflow tips. Are they on your OEM muffler or M performance muffler?

I have an M performance muffler and the spacing seems to be off according to the shop and they said they can't install these tips on it. One tip will be on the piping, but the other one will be off my 1/2 inch.

Update on this. These will not fit the M Performance muffler. The spacing is different. Another thing is that the M Performance exhaust tips are welded onto the muffler, which I think is ridiculous. Not sure why BMW would put rivets on them. We found out the hard way when the shop tried to pull it off, but they were only able to get the shell off. So then they cut 1 of the tips off to see if the Magnaflows would fit, but nope. They Ended up welding the cut off pipe back on the muffler. I'm gonna get 3 inch tips instead. SMH.
