Stripped Lug Bolt
I have a 2011 E90 M3 Sedan.
I had a shop take off my wheel today to repair it, and they said they had a hell of a time getting the lug bolts off. Apparently one of the bolts and holes is stripped pretty good. Was likely put on wrong last time. What am I in for in order to get that repaired? |

Need some help on a similar situation. A technician tried to take off the lug bolt key but completely sheared off the top/teeth, so the bolt head is completely flat. There is nothing for the key to grab on to. I called several shops (including BMW dealerships) and they said they're not sure they could take it off. Anyone have suggestions?

I took mine to Brake Masters for something similar and they got the lug nut off just fine for free. From there it should be easy, worst case scenario replace studs too.
