Just under 8lbs, not including wiper blades. I don't want to lose the wipers, but they will receive some optimization.

how cool would it be to have one of those aim modules with a separate (for the sake of size and being thin) mounted to the steering column so you could flip it up and down like one of those mclarens...

What's the general consensus for track motor mounts these days? Looks like bimmerworlds are not available, and vibratechnics are a bit too rich for my blood.

Would the rev shift poly bushings be a good option? Mine are poly and appear to be cracked.

This is just God's way of telling you to install 292 cams

Are you going with BE springs or OEM?

How do you like those cams?

Just went with 4 new stock springs and retainers on that cylinder

Just thought I'd drop an interesting and somewhat controversial opinion here. I just replaced my front tension arms (56k miles and 20 track days) with G.A.S. monoball units between track days a week apart, and I didn't notice any difference in performance/feel. For reference, when I did solid subframe mounts I noticed a huge difference immediately, and on the street before ever having tracked the car.

The front monoballs are not a huge difference like the subframe bushings. Now that is another story!

I like them a lot, although I have not driven them in a 4.0L engine. In the stroker they are great, I would use even larger ones if I could

Out at the track today and discovered a blown front strut

Welp, time to send them off to KW to rebuild. Anybody know if they will revalve them for me while they’re at it? Or if they’ll only rebuild to their specs?

My NT01 tires are pretty much done and need to order some new tires. I have four 18x10 wheels and two 18x11 and I'm thinking of trying the Nankang AR1 tires. I have Ohlin R&T coilovers and I'm only 1/4" lower than stock ZCP.
My options are :

275/35/18 and 295/30/18 on 10 & 11 wheels
295/30/18 on 10 & 11 wheels
or 295/30/18 on 18x10 wheels all around?

The 265/295 are very close to the same diameter while the 275 is taller than the 295. Not ideal.

If square I would definitely not put a 295 on a 10. That's too narrow for proper sidewall support. The AR1 runs narrow, but I would not go down to a 10. Instead 10.5 square is best for 295 square with the AR1.

If you have (4) 10" wheels already then I would do 275 square with AR1. Alternatively you could do a test. Buy (4) 265/35/18 for the 10's and a pair of 295 for the 11's. See which option you prefer (square or staggered). Keep in mind that car setup may need to be altered to maximize both options. The fact is that more rubber generally provides a bigger opportunity for more grip. It's just a matter of having the car setup to take advantage of it. In other words tire sizing is one of many ways to alter understeer/oversteer characteristics. Suspension settings, alignment settings, etc. can all influence.

From reading the posts on here I got the impression that the AR1 runs a little narrow so thought the 275/295 combo might work.

I tried to get some A052 in 265/295 but they are sold out here in Canada.
