I sometimes torque good and tight, sometimes look up the spec for a 10 mm bolt and once it twice TTY spec. Technically you should not reuse TTY bolts but thus is just a reinforcement not even found on similar chassis. The 90 degrees could add 50% to the 41 lb base torque.

You're brave. If you get into an accident I wouldn't want my head slamming into the cage without some padding on it since we don't wear helmets driving on the street. I never imagined getting into a side collision until someone decided to run a red and drove right into me in my old car. Only my door was between me and that car's front bumper and despite the seatbelt you still move around (head, arms, legs). If I had a cage, my head would probably crack like an egg if it hit it. Be safe brother

Decided to be cliche and basic and try out the red start/stop button. Also needed to repaint the peeling bezel so I tackled that. Looks decent.
Of course, now the carbon leather trim piece doesn't sit as snug to the dash as it did before. Any tips for getting this firmly back into place? I believe the blue tab behind the dash that receives the clip was in the correct position but I could be wrong. |

^ Get a new blue anchor. I had the same issue and now it’s factory tight again. $1 and 30 seconds.

I'm lazy so I spent extra for the pre-installed set. Rationalized it with my curb and rumble strip usage haha. My expectations aren't super high, but we'll see if they give me a wow at the track Friday...

The positives are well documented. It’s the mixed reviews on downsides that have me on the fence. Some say DD friendly and no downside, some say the harshness is noticeably felt over expansion joints, rumble strips, etc. Please report back!

I havent noticed any of that, just a sharper steering response and a "calmer/more focused" front end. However that is all subjective and I suspect dampener/spring rates will affect this as well.
