Icebox install question

I got everything I need for my attempt to install an Icebox/water tank. I got a 5-gallon unit and plan to keep the small reservoir that came with the ESS kit for easy removal of my tank if needed (I plan to use fittings right after the reservoir near the front right corner of the engine bay). My question is where did you penetrate the tunk area to run the hoses under the car. or have you seen this done. I have only seen one photo where someone cut holes in the trunk area and ran hoses under the heat shield. I don't plan to run them under the heat shield, I plan to run them under the felt-like material underbody covers. There has got to be some holes/openings near the battery or amp (prefer the battery side) that I can use. Anyone please can chime in with any ideas or photos they may have seen with help with my brainstorming. I will post photos when it's completed.

The fitment is tight. You need to run the hoses under the heat shields, requiring exhaust removal. You can drill holes in the plastic trunk liner in the wheel well. It’s time consuming and knuckle busting. My recommendation is “don’t bother”. Spend a couple hundred dollars more and get a snow machine setup.

I think deansbimmer did the setup on a car about a year ago. Maybe he can advise. I would bet it’s a tight fit.

Where in Maryland are you? I'm in Howard County and I've got methanol w/my AA SC. You're welcome to come take a look if you like. The hose enters the trunk just behind the rear seats in the area where your electronics are. However, my line runs down the driver's side.

No problem. My car has been turned into a track only vehicle now and is in my trailer which is located in my driveway (heading to VIR on Friday). Can still get into the back and take a look at things if you like. I'm North Laurel (roughly route 216 & I-95) so not at all far from you.

I'm also work from home until at least Labor Day so any time of day would work for me.
