Has anyone with the gt4 mk2 wing taken off the winglets? I need to buff it and apply some UV protectant, but the screws just turns.

A faded carbon wing adds more downforce

Ask any real racer .

Might have been a bit overdue on this air filter swap — perhaps will net a few HP's?

Is AFEs not washable-reusable?

They are actually but I don't know how many miles were on the old one and there was a nice sale a few weeks back, figured I may as well grab a new one.

Set a new personal best at MSR-C in TT today (sub-1:21)...then proceeded to fuck it up by going off on the second to last lap and getting a DQ. It wouldn't have been enough to move me up in class though, so whatever.

Fortunately, I kept all four tires on track the next session.

Had a ton of fun running TT. Everyone was very friendly and drove safely, and worked well together to let faster cars by and not disrupt flying laps. Finished 3rd place in TT3, behind two heavily-prepped E9X M3s on Hoosiers!

My car did take some damage on the Friday test and tune which was really upsetting. On the very first session, a car in front of me threw up a piece of metal (possibly an exhaust hanger laying on track) which chipped my headlamp, gouged the fender, and chipped my windshield. The overall traffic management for test and tune was pretty shit, too many proud people that were making it difficult to pass despite being in a noticeably slower car. Last time I do that at MSR-C...

Sorry about the damage. Good job finishing 3rd.

I am going to try to attend the Eagle Canyon event. Hope to see you there.

I'm undecided on ECR next month since I am going there this coming weekend with Chin Track Days -- a coworker and I will be getting coaching with Scott Adams.

Ended the weekend slower then I wanted and what the car can do. Never driven on Hoosiers before so that was a learning curve and waisted all the good life just learning. Cracked a rotor, have a pretty good exhaust leak not sure how that happened and got a chip in the windshield hopefully can get filled. But was a super fun weekend met some new guys and can't wait for ECR. Met dparm in his vette. Here's my Sunday final session of the week quickest time driving as hard as I could but the tires lost all there magic.

Rotors aren't done until you can see the crack from 10 feet away.

Congrats guys! Besides a bit of carnage looks like it was a fun weekend. Bummed I had to miss it, really enjoy Cresson. Figured I might see some pitchforks if I showed up coughing and sneezing everywhere though.
