Have you done TT yet? Also, they are not mutually exclusive. You can do a few TT events per year and do as many HPDE's as you wish. |

Completely unrelated and off topic- but my truck is running like shit. What would be the theoretical code that would come up for old fuel? MAF sensor perhaps? That's all I'm getting.
Vacuum lines look good. I thought maybe a rat got in there or something, but it's visually ok.

Close to ready but far from finished
![]() Harris Hill is going to be next week & maybe some the following week before we head to Houston. We have pushed back some items (i.e. the intake work, aesthetics) until after SCCA at COTA Feb 8 & 9. Main goal for Houston is to walk away with my NASA race license - safety and reliability are my focus point for the car right now. You're car ready for H2R in Feb/Mar? I have a sneaking suspicion that will seriously not be an issue Assuming you are the same thundermoose on track junkies I have been watching the video you posted from msr houston - you are seriously fast. It's my go to video for my track prep right now |

So, as you already said, the 275/35/19 is safer size. |

Speaking TT, anyone know what size A7 will fit the 282mm template on either a 10in or 10.5in wheel? Trying not to spend to much on figuring out the size. Thanks in advanced.

No need to do anything to your car. TT follows HPDE safety requirements. Even if car is not optimized to rule set you'll still go faster and get cleaner laps than in the HPDE groups. Especially if you're already a racer, you'll get more purposeful track time in your street car. Hope to see you soon. Our mutual friend Scott Landon had a similar reluctance but that was wiped away after his first TT session. |

I'm thinking I will need a set of practice/warm up tires and then throw on the sticker tires for the fast session(s). Coach me Thundermoose!

For TT, you end up with a few sets of A7's. Sticker set each event depending on your budget or if you're fortunate to win tires. The scrubs become your practice and warm up sets. You can set fastest times though in first several HC's of a new set. |

Just got off the phone with Andie from cobalt friction brakes. What a knowledgeable dude. Ordered some XR1's and XR3's for my car.
I also reserved a trailer. My tekonsha p3 brake controller came and the install looks super simple. Now I just have to get my front rotors machined, flush fluid, and mount some pirelli dh scrubs and I'm all set. and a question for those that tow- do you lock your car while in transit? does the tilt sensor set the alarm off or anything? i'm not sure how that works... first time towing anything.

quick question for anyone who has PFC Z54 kit. Is the rotor DD V3 or a different one? I wanted to see if I get DDV3 to begin with and use it as back up once I get Z54 kit.
