Canadian Chevron 94 octane is almost equivalent to 91 shell. If your vehicle is Canadian spec and you requested 94 octane I made you a map equivalent to a 91 octane map, pumping 93 octane is no problem.

Everyone else if you are on a higher octane map do not ever pump lower octane fuel, switch the map or go to stock.

Am I better off switching to the 91 octane map and using Shell 91 octane fuel then? or is there a slight performance increase using the Petrol-Canada ultra 94 octane fuel with the Canadian spec 93/91 octane map....I don't want to be wasting money on higher octane fuel if there's no real difference. Thanks for the help.

Just got my AA test pipes. I'll be requesting a new file from Alex to upload. Besides Stage 2, what else did you all with Stage 2 request? I'll be running 93 octane.

Is it ok to drive the car home with the Stage 1 tune and then flash the car when I get home or should I just have the garage flash it for me? Thanks.

Does Alex offer a cold start rev limiter protection feature? I already have the stage 2, but I would like to add this feature.

Hi Alex,

I had my battery changed recently by a local shop and not sure if the ECU was reset. However I found the car isn't as preppy as before when I had your Stage 1. Not sure if it's a psychological thing but is there a way to verify if I still have your Stage 1 tune intact?

I recently sent you an email for a new tune (sent to the "files" email address. What's the turn around time? I was hoping to take the car this week to get the test pipes installed and the tune done. Also, how do I set up the time for the GTS DCT flash? Thanks!

You can hook up the laptop and reset adaptation... but I think the car is always learning at the beginning after battery change so it always feel a little sluggish, from my experience.

for DCT flash, you tell him the date and time and DO not be late. have everything set up and ready to go.

I was running Alpine's stage 2 tune and thought it was great, then I read Alex has a specific tune for the Akra Evo (which I do have) so I requested that and damn I didn't think it'd get any better but it did! noticeable increase in low end torque and cars feels like a different beast now

you don't need a flexfuel kit. the kit that you buy just adjust based on ethanol rating.

alex tune lets you run full e85 without any other modifications.
