The square tire setup is fine on the 8.5/9.5 wheels, but you of course can't rotate front to rear. I had 275/35-18 Rivals all around, pinched down a bit on the 8.5 up front, and it wasn't too bad as the Rival was so stiff. It's not class legal to change the rear wheel width of course, so you couldn't run 8.5 all around for example.

You can fit a 315/30-18 back there on a 10 too. I did it on 9.5’s with Hoosiers back in the day. So supporting the Yoke or whatever in that size would be better on a 10
