DCT Flywheel damaged?
Would appreciate opinions of the experienced members)
Discovered this while searching for the reason of the noise going from DCT-area after its full-service with its removal. Is that play normal, or I need to replace the flywheel at 65k km? |

Some play like that is normal since it is a dual mass assembly. As the assembly ages, play will increase. There is supposed to be rubber-like isolation at the end of each direction.
Although some play is normal, too much play will cause additional noise even though the unit is functioning properly. You can't really tell visually when the play becomes "too much". |
