throttle actuator calibration?

As the title says, anyone heard of this and whether it's necessary to be done once you change ta's?

Just swamped both of mine, including the throttle sensors. Limp mode and check engine light disappeared right away, car drives great. Indy shop mentioned a calibration and I have never heard of it needing one.

I swapped both my actuators last week with MPower rebuilt units and the car runs great. I believe there is a throttle position sensor that needs calibration if it's changed out ...but not the throttle actuators from what I was told.

How long did it take to get your actuators

Ok, so sounds like throttle sensors need calibration and not ta's. I ended up changing both ta's and sensors.

Did any of you all ever change the throttle position sensors and did you calibrate them? Can't find anything for s65 and this topic.

From when I placed the order it was something like 4 weeks until I had them in hand. I made sure to return my cores ASAP so others can get their TAs sooner rather than later.

I think MPower is receiving lots of orders...

Sorry for the delay in processing some of your orders. We got swamped with order over the past few months and customers we not sending their cores back in time. Some even held on to their cores and told us to keep the core charge. So the combination of unexpected orders along with cores not being returned in time made our shipping times get delayed. We are almost back on track now.

To answer the question,

No calibration is required. Just make sure to clear all error codes and some prefer to reset all adaptations as well. But that isn't required either.
