Becker Headers +15rwhp / +8rwtq Dyno results inside

Usually when there are discussions about mods and people wanting to see dynos, some would say they'd clip in for dynos, so I'm giving the community the chance to make this happen and so far a few interested parties have stepped up. (Thanks guys)

I'd be perfectly content installing these and not doing any dynos but no doubt someone would question by review of them and ask/demand to see dynos.

The last ARH N/A dyno thread I remember was on a mustang dyno and everyone wanted him to drive hours to a dynojet to appease them because they didn't believe the gains on the mustang dyno.

Looking forward to the dyno. Thus far, it seems like bigger exhausts don’t add power except maybe on forced induction or stroker motor cars. More testing like you are doing will be helpful in figuring that out. Could be that you will need a custom tune to take advantage of less exhaust backpressure.

I agree it looks like the rear section has a staggered setup for the connecting pipes too.. I might be able to help make you some adaptors for whatever rear section you want to mate up.. I have a sweet new TIG setup that I'm still learning on but if you wanna pay for materials and shipping I'm sure I can help..... just a thought

For some reason I hasn't seen your thread before. Looks good, but going from catless to catted with the headers probably limited some of the gains. Have you thought about getting a custom tune for the headers?

The specs seem to say otherwise. What size are they? Please share your source.

You can simply look at the picture and see the transition in and out of the muffler (can’t tell whether the muffler is 2.5 or 3.0” inside), at the ball transitions at the rear exhaust end, and at the header collector to midpipe. Yes, most appears to be 3”, but some is less — probably 2.5”.

Parts of it probably is but I will measure them and confirm. I believe after the header flanges is 3".

According to the website ARH offers 1 5/8" & 1 3/4" headers. So it depends on which one you get. But they don't confirm if that is the OD or ID.

Becker says theirs are 1.6" OD and 1.5" ID for the primaries. Which sounds like it lines up to the smaller ARH option.

Honestly, even if the x-pipe is not a 3" setup it doesn't really matter as 2.5" is enough for the amount of power the S65 can put down. Unless you are supercharged I really don't see the reason needing the same size piping that ARH has unless you want the same kinda sound. I suspect that this tri-y header has more of a higher pitch and rasp to it than the ARH, but that is besides the point.

headers are not tri-y they are just uneven 4 into 1, i will say this is more like a long tube design of factory size headers

Headers are here, lets get this goal reached so I can dyno!

Quality seems pretty good, header flanges look good against a straight edge no warpage. The parts of the mid section that is 3" do seem pretty big in person.
