I was at the dealership a few days ago getting my TPMS replaced and thermostat replaced under CA Emissions Warranty. I asked my SA since I'm here can I get the right side piece and the left side replaced. Told her I saw them for $30 each online (outdated real OEM link on last page) thinking she'll say no, they're much more. She came back and said they have it for about $140 or something like that, but she would try and get the price down. I ended up paying $70 each w/ free bolts and free install.

I needed a template for my attempt at an aluminum one and thought I'd give it one last shot so I bit the bullet and bought all 3 pieces + hardware for $344

When I bought last year it was about $350 shipped for the large center piece and two wings. I scraped mine to bits due to clearance issues. My car is slightly lowered on H&R Sport springs. I think the best replacement is the flat plate with cutouts that deansbimmer sells. It is sturdier than stock and flat so it does not drop down and probably increases clearance as a result. It has been track tested by some buyers. I think someone offers add on sacrificial aero fittings if you want the contours underneath.

I just did this. Anyone know the part number for the 3 10mm bolts that attach the center part to the metal part that protects the oil drains? I'm missing one.
I debated the metal permanant replacement but went with FCPEuro because they will replace it (lifetime as long as I'm the owner) and it's OEM. |

Just get the aluminum undertray from deansbimmer and call it a day. You'll have so much extra clearance and never smash the felt things up again. So glad I bought mine. Oh and it's cheaper than the Turner .

I agree– the aluminum undertray from deansbimmer is the way to go. https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1439553 |
