out of interest, is it normal to see all kinds of funky error messages on the CIC (e.g. about DSC failure, transmission error etc) during the Alpine tune flash? It all goes away on car restart after flashing.

I hate the factory transmission file. It always feels like it wants to stall in stop go traffic. My car needs a DCT reflash badly

Do it, you won't regret it! Mine is much more civilized in stop and go traffic, but like a banshee when in let's go mode.

Oh I've had it for a year until last week when the dealer had to replace my FRM module under warranty and erased my motor tune, DCT flash and coding. I try to drive my car only through open roads as much as I can.

Guys with the Stage 2 tune, do you still occasionally get the increased emissions light despite the tune? Drove for almost a week enjoying the new tune, this afternoon got the light. I’ll clear it and see if it comes back, but thought I would ask here as well.

Don't clear it, read the code and message me. You might have another issue like a exhaust leak.

This is why I do not just kill the engine light, so if you do have a problem it still shows.

this will mask codes from the secondarys but will not mask any issues with your upstream o2 sensors. just check which bank it is and replace it. or both. theyre like 80 bucks a piece for the oem bosch ones.

The o2 sensors should not ever be masked.

O2's should be functioning, I would bet one of your O2's are bad and or they're not connected after installing Test Pipes

Yeah, O2's are very sensitive, they need to be to do the job they do. After replacing them you should be fine

I've only ever had the increased emissions light come up once, that was 2 months ago. I forgot what the code was exactly but cleared it and it never came back again. I've had the tune since November or something, I cannot remember when the group buy was

Cleared it, hasn’t reoccurred. I’ve only driven it just today. We’ll see. If it returns I’ll replace the sensors.
