Adjusting exhaust height. Hear out my idea

Hi All,
So been in the market for an exhaust. Im pretty much decided on getting a Corsa exhaust for my E90 M3. Love the unique sound!

Anywho, the #1 complaint I hear and I agree with is that the muffler and tips hang a bit too low. I called Corsa and they said the only thing you can possibly do is bend the metal exhaust hanging rods but you risk making the overall exhaust crooked.

My idea: would it be possible to achieve the goal of making the tips more flush with the exhaust cut out by installing shorter/ adjustable exhaust hangers? I figure it needs to just be raised about .5" at max.

Would you think this could work? I dont know the measurements of the OEM exhaust hangers but if I could get shorter ones, i feel it would work. Thoughts?

The Corsa cans still look low even with the tips mashed against the cutouts haha.

that amazon hanger might work on the rear, but the side hangers are going to be pretty mashed and hard to manipulate.

I am not sure if this is what you're after but consider getting the cans powder coated black in addition to any modification you end up doing. I have this and they look great to me, no complaints.

hmm good point. Didnt think of the side hangers. So is there absolutely no wiggle room to raise the rear hangers even like 10mm?

Possibly. They have a little metal frame inside of them, but they are somewhat flexible.

A bigger concern would be putting stress on the exhaust mounts from the rear mounts pulling up, and the side mounts pushing down... with all the heat cycling of driving, the mounts are more likely to crack from the tension.

The look doesn't bother me personally but for the height how about buying a diffuser to tighten the look.

It's a powder coat. I have it this way from the previous owner so can't say who or how but it has held up 15k miles without any issue.
