Same thing happened to me. Never use my debit card except for some online purchases and for automatic payments. Actually just activated my new one this morning. Pain in the ass since payments are linked to it.

Was frolicking around at 5:30 AM in the morning today, playing some more with the camera.

If anyone has ideas about more cool ways to take photos then I am all ears!

Light painting is always fun. Perhaps you can try lighting paint the lines on the car... similar to what I did here when I was experimenting with it.

HAppens all the time. I use credit cards only for this reason. My Debit cards are solely used for atm withdrawals.
I'm honestly assuming it was a skimmer at one of the gas stations I go to in the US, my card wouldn't work at the pump but as soon as I changed pumps it worked. Worst part is we don't even have a Fred Meyers in Canada

I just picked up my new debit card this morning myself, hopefully everything can get resolved.

Finally did a proper cleaning on the interior alcantara stuff after a 2200 mile trip. Looks as good as before I left, so I'm happy

Changed the old(wrong) battery to the h8 platinum last week, had a guy come over tonight to check the coding and reg the battery- no battery related codes and the battery didn't even need registering ??? I had it on a trickle charger when I changed the batt otherwise I have no idea how everything was fine.

Sonax makes a pretty good alcantara cleaner. Comes with a rubber nub/metal bristle brush to comb it out with.

I believe it's Autotecknik, and I'm not sure they make it anymore. However...fits great!

Bwahahahahahahahaha!!!

I got to drive the damn thing!! It is now brown with gooey road grime but at least I got to drive it!! Man, did I miss this thing. Traction limited due to wet roads...

Talking about traction, I got stuck on a flat road in front of my house that still had ice on it. PS4S tires are TERRIBLE for snow. A nice neighbour pushed me out!!

So happy to be able to burn the winter fuel out of it. Redline is addictive.

I have never seen it so dirty.

Cheers,

Today, sitting at the dealership having the airbag and blower harness recalls done finally.

Follow up- In and out in 90 minutes, and no attempts to upsell anything! Actually a pleasent experience.

I'm too hoping to pull my car out for a drive given the recent weather in the GTA. If you're doing it in SK, no reason we in the GTA should be hiding .

It's a Sony A5100.

I am at 1/20 shutter speed in this picture. Will try with 1/30 and 1/40 next.
What XKxRome0ox said.

1/60th is a general rule of thumb to not have blurry photos. Don't use shutter speed to make your photos brighter unless you're on a locked-off tripod. Like long exposures, etc...

For rollers, you're going to need at least 1/100 shutter speed to avoid any motion blur on the car. The background will still fall out of focus nicely. If you can go higher, go higher.

Adjust your f-stop and ISO to compensate for the shutter speed. F4 - F8 are a good starting range to experiment with and then you can crank up the ISO if needed. ISO 800-1250 should be plenty.

Those cameras have a lot of latitude to work with so you don't need them to look perfectly exposed in-camera while you're out shooting. You can pull out a lot of detail later in the edit.
