Apologies in advance to all the photographers out there for the quality of the pic, will do better ones once the rain stops.
Would love to do this on my E93 as well.. did you DIY? If so, how difficult was it?

Bought it

2008
82,200 miles 6MT
Bought it from the Memphis Carmax so I could get the Maxcare warranty until 125,000 miles. Will change the RB's at the end of the warranty... pics to come when I get to my computer since my phone uploads aren't working

The stripes are just the standard stickers everybody else gets. I just placed them a little bit different.

I've seen your signature picture a thousand times and have never noticed this before.

Now it cannot be unseen.

Hit all the black trim I could find on the inside of the car with Meguire's something something black. I believe I've detailed the trim once or twice since 2013.

Anyway kind of funny - A few days ago I tested the product on a section of dash in front of the passenger seat. I could see that it made a slight difference but it wasn't mind-blowing or even eye-widening. But definitely a difference. So today I did the rest of the car.

Got in the first time after finishing . . . Makes a huge difference. I don't know if it's doing the rest of the car or maybe it's just having the A-pillars done, but when I got in I was like whoa, looks new-ish.

Then I noticed that the ring around the start button was peeling. After some googling, youtube-ing, and browsing around here, I popped it out of the car, popped the ring out of the button, finished peeling the plastic off of viewable part, and then spray-painted it flat-black with Krylon. I should have layered it instead of just hitting it heavy with paint but I was bizarrely impatient, and it's good enough. A new one is like $95, and although I found a used one on ebay for $40 it was also peeling.

The start button is so easy to remove it's almost a portable anti-kids-taking -your-car-for-a-joyride device.

This week I also replaced all three fiber/plastic parts under the front of the car. While they were torn up, it wasnt too bad for 5 years of driving. In the last few weeks I replaced the manual transmission fluid and the oil, first time I did either one. Pretty easy - as with most diy everything goes much more smoothly if you have the right tools....

But the thing I continue to be most impressed with is the spark plug change I did last month. Giant difference in engine performance.

No the small M colors you have on the driver side grill. You've got a shot of your car in your signature with each post, and I've never noticed that until you posted your close up just a few posts ago.

Thumbs up.

Just bought myself the M5 knob with boot, will be a winter project while drinking egg nog over christmas. Thinking I may need to go a step further with your ssk once installed. Curious how you feel about it a week or so out from now.
