Well I got Dragy and this is the outcome of 60-130.
I had to let off a bit in the middle cause tires didnt like the cold weather and a slight bend. Would have been high 8s.

Bimmerworld was selling Harrop for $9k on Black Friday. That is getting to a more reasonable price for the product. If only it was a stage 2.

We are as well with code HARROPBFF -

There will be a cost effective Stage II upgrade once completed.

I recently had some work done on my M3. The guys at the shop said the Harrop was the best supercharger out there for the e92 M3 because it's the only one that makes power down low. The other make power at the top end. The guy at the shop felt that car was almost too fast.

Harrop seems like a well sorted package.

exhaust +15-20
pully- +10-12
Gear Change ??
Net HP gains for FBO= 45-59
i didnt say you will get more HP. I said you would get the same or better performance.

What the best 1/4 mile harrop kit to-date? whats the best FBO 1/4 mile to-date ( pretty sure i know the answer already, and the fbo cars dont even have gear changes)

which is why i said test the performance metrics, the 60ft, the 0-60s, the 40-60 40-80 etc etc.

we live in the real world here, not on dyno's

FALSE. 100% false. ask the owners what they see, and logged, and why the 625's have a 650 option with 8+ psi.

I don't think any of this back and fourth matters. I took my regular M3 on some back roads yesterday to see what the JRZs feel like. Just 5-6K rpm the car seemed very fast.

I can't imagine what that car feels like with 498 to the wheels.

I have a 625kit it made 7 psi. As kit does log over 8.5 psi a stage 3 runs 9 plus the rotrex is a smaller blower that they spin harder to make the same boost. If you run the smaller pulley in a v3 the mid range moves up drastically.

I would not ensure your cooling system is up to par. If you are dct I would suggest upgrading the cooler as the dct has been known not to like hot temps on track days.

Has anyone installed this kit with the afe air box?

Understood that this kit uses the factory air box but don't think I've seen anyone install this kit with AFE box

I'm running the afe. It adds 10 decibels of noise to the transaction.

Yikes Mvy. Yours must be a screamer at WOT. As you know I blocked off my driver's side stock air box hood intake for slightly more stealth mode among traffic, oh - and the boys in blue.
I do find myself clutching down whenever I see Johnny law,. But my county in Georgia they really don't give a shit.

I wish I had stuck with a stock air box for this configuration. it was great when it was stock. I don't think the AFE is worth it with the harrop, it just adds extra noise.

For those of you with this kit, does BPM offer another tune as opposed to harrop's factory tune? If so how did you go about getting it and did it make any difference?

Harrop sources their tune from BPM. Its one and the same.
