JBSpeed High-Kick Spoiler, IND Painted Reflectors, and ceramic coated.
This is a quick picture from my detailer, unfortunately it's rained every day since this was done so I haven't gotten great pictures. Very impressed with the outcome. ![]()

A lot of little things
Just took a picture of her as I was walking back into the office. The lighting was just right.
Changed up the exhaust tips to get them aligned with the diffuser - replaced chrome with black chrome. Detailed the interior. Replaced the iDrive controller with a larger one. Polished my headlights. Up Next: Deciding on DTM headlights and trying to figure out how to fix the previous owner's bad tint job on the rear windows without screwing up the defroster cables. |

This one. thinking of changing up the gear shift knob to something different as well and figuring out what to do with interior trim. I could continue the fiery orange color theme inside. Options/Options. |

Is that the AVIN one? How's the build quality of it? I was looking at that recently as well.

Finally after a long while, I did some work to my M3.
First, she got new shoes. I decided on the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500XLs after seeing a lot of good reviews. Very reasonably priced on Tire Rack; I got 255/35 19 for the fronts and 275/35 19 for the rear on my ZCP wheel set. So far they've been great. Second, I converted to wheel studs. I bought the MRG Titanium 12x1.5 Stud Conversion Kit 75mm Stud Length from Vivid Racing. A bit much in retrospect for the modification, but a set of five for each wheel weighs in at 8 7/8 oz. vs. the steel bolts that were 14 1/4 oz. Price per dollar, not really worth it but so far I like them and they accommodate up to a 15mm wheel spacer. Also to note, they don't like to be torqued more than 19FT LBS into the hub. Third, I finally decided to replace the subwoofers under the seats with Bavsound 8 ohm Ghost Underseat Subwoofers. I got these in the clearance store for my DIRAC audio. These are fairly easy to install; you just have to be careful with over torquing the screws during the installation. I've had some time to test these out and I even tested driver side first prior to installing the passenger speaker and it's definitely noticeable. I even took the M for a 5-hour round trip ride to Charlottesville, VA blasting everything from Metallica to some recent Pop music and they're fairly nice. An additional note and unexpected surprise: I decided to weigh the stock speaker and the Bavsound speaker. Stock is 3lbs 9 3/4 oz vs. 2 lbs 4 3/4 oz. for an unexpected loss of 2lbs 10 oz. Next on the list that I have been sitting on since Black Friday last year is a set of AP Racing BBK. Now that I'm getting to see my car more often now, I hope to get them on next month! Here are the pictures of everything below, enjoy! |
