The price of coilover is definitely not a reflection of Bilstiens but more of ECStuning as they own Turner as well. I rather just not buying from ECS/Turner anymore. Bimmerworld lists it at $3000 and some change. BavAuto has it for $28xx. But obviously its still OOS everywhere.

The worse part was that Turner used to be good until ECS decided to make changes to their business.

Wait what?? Dinan coilovers? They keep the OE shocks, which is the weak point in the suspension setup. I can't let anyone spend 2k on a setup just to keep the stock dampers. Look elsewhere.

Ground Control, MCS, TCK, Ohlins, they're all infinitely better than these if that's the price point we're at. The only reason to even consider the Bilsteins is to retain the EDC. But honestly, that's a steep price to pay to keep that feature.

Basically some height adjusters and springs, similar to the H&R HAS kit. I've heard some mixed reviews on the HAS, I've heard it's slightly clunky/noisy. Curious how the dinan kit compares, and how much the shocks are preloaded compared to HAS. Personally, I'd like to retain EDC functionality as it serves a dual purpose - Daily driver, and weekend track. My stock shocks don't feel as tight anymore. I've read people here leave EDC in comfort, and normal is too harsh for them. In my car comfort is almost a bit too 'floaty' and there is a good amount of roll in the middle of a corner. I usually keep EDC in the 'Normal' setting. Perhaps its time for new shocks. Quote:
Anywho, their webpage doesn't even load...

Same here, i lost more than a few sales to my customers due to Bilstein not giving a fuck about their aftermarket line rite now. Quite frustrating that a huge aftermarket supplier suddenly shifted all their resources to OE production to fulfill some new OE contract.

It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing to hear this about Bilstein lately.
I suppose the KW DDC kit is a good substitute as they offer a version that integrates with OE EDC controls. I'll have to look into this instead... Edit: I was misinformed. The KW DDC kit uses it's own proprietary controller and button setup, and does not interface with the OEM EDC.

OEM is better than the broken Bilstein's stuck in firm mode for over a year!!! After this experience OEM will be just fine and now I have a warranty.
And if Bilstein is now OE for say BMW, I am sure some will continue the chant that OE aren't good enough. Even Dinan said the OE were so good it wasn't necessary to replace them. |

Guess what family? After a year and change with a broken Bilstein rear shock, I finally replaced the rear with Genuine BMW rear EDC shocks and it was finished yesterday.
Today, the very next day, Bilstein products are now available again! Can timing be any worse!!!! After over a year of waiting and waiting, I finally give in. This has cost me money I would not have needed to spend for a warranty repair. |

Where are they available? All of my distributors still say out of stock. Some websites always say available in an effort to capture backorder sales.
