Does DCT tune void aftermarket warranties? Or is it easy to reflash back to stock when bringing into shop for warranty work?

No it shouldn't. I bought my car off a dealership and it already had the GTS Transmission flash. And i was able to get aftermarket warranty

thats odd, i flashed the gts flash to 7 cars, it did say start stop assistance was disabled or not functioning. All i did was turn the car fully off and start the car, and start stop was enabled again.

When I first saw your post, I checked the feature on my car and it wasn't working either. However, I have flashed the OEM map back and the function doesn't work just the same. I don't use it, so it may never have worked since day one.

Thanks for the replies. Unless I'm misunderstanding, it sounds like the auto start/stop feature doesn't work with the GTS DCT flash. I'm getting mine flashed in about a week so I'll report back.

I use this feature now and then...long stoplights

I'd like to know this too. My car (2011 E90) goes to D2 when you put it in gear from start, curious to know what bits and bytes are swimming around in my DCT.

If you have winkfp you can read what ZB# you have
INPA can also identify what ZB-NR you have

My auto/stop works. I know this because when the wife is driving I like to point out something outside of the car that she will be interested in. I then push the button and wait for her panic to set in at the next stop light as the car shuts down on her. Her reaction? Priceless.

The same about mine, 4.2011. I bought it last year and went to the dealer to update all the software, I assume dct as well. Nothing has changed in dct since then - it starts with D2.
Maybe it is just wrong info that in stock it is S?

I wonder that too, I'd be very surprised if my car has the DCT tune. Perhaps it was changed on later cars to start in D2 (which honestly makes much more sense).
