Installed it for aesthetics with a stock filter. Moved on to keeping OEM and a BMC filter.

Installing the whole piece is fine, it just takes a looot of patience, trim off a piece of plastic on your box on the smaller side of the elbow and it'll work. Use two of the clamps closest to the plenum. I purchased an AFE rubber coupler to accommodate an easier install. The one it came with was too narrow.
