New Car: 105k mile rod bearings

Just picked up the car to start a track build and had the bearings done immediately as the car lacked much of a paper trail. These came out of a late 2009 model.

They look to be in pretty good condition, it almost looks like they're the newer aluminum bearings? Starting to think these were replaced and undocumented in the paperwork I received with the car. Thoughts?

Yes they look like the newer bearing but I'm no expert. All the earlier engine years I've seen pictures from had at least some exposed copper layer, especially at that mileage.

Yea, looks like someone swapped them for the newer tin/aluminum bearings.
It's even worse that the new bearings were taking a dump.

Original engine blew up and it was replaced under warranty with new one with updated bearings.

These are the older lead/copper bearings.

I do see a bit of copper looking material on a couple of the more worn ones
