I used to put it in the trunk when I had my camera on the roll bar. Since I cut it out and had the go pro up front, I just taped it in the passenger side subwoofer housing (no passenger seat no subs). I like the sound it made actually. Had more of the rasp from that section of the exhaust vs the grumble from exhaust exit.

I imagine it can just be taped under the seat. I also have the windsock as well.

The Motive is fantastic, I've had mine for 8+ years now and it still works great! That said you do need to replace the plastic line every 5 years or so as they get brittle, easy enough to do. Makes for a very easy brake flush, I do put fluid into the container and simply rinse it out lightly when I am done with denatured alcohol, then air dry (per Motives cleaning instructions).

Honestly Schroth enduro harnesses are the best thing since sliced bread. I wondered why they commanded a premium until the E46 I bought had them included. Holy %@#$ it makes it much easier to strap in quickly.

I know a 60 year old that lap significant portion of HPDE drivers (it's not me). Hell, TC Kline has to be close to 60 (sorry if you're not, TC!). He lapped the A group twice at O'Fest at Laguna in one session and he had me riding in the front right seat as ballast.

I'd be more scared to ride w/a 35 year old who weighs 350+lbs or a 21 yr old who thinks he's Lewis Hamilton than a fit 60 yr old.

I get what you're saying, but you're never going to get access to everyone's medical records or mindset or how much they drank last night before you hit the track.

And one more thing: Every one of the on track WTF instances (crash, major off, or bone-headed move) that I've seen was by someone younger than me. Gotta get those kids off the track.

I tape mine to the rear bumper just below the license plate. If you have a foam cover or one of those furry ones, the wind noise is almost zero.

I have used the traditional HANS for a few years but am changing to the SHR Flex this year.

- on the HANs I'm not a fan of the way the padding attaches with velcro
A couple of times I've had to cut sessions short to adjust them because they had shifted somehow.
- I also like the shorter riser behind the neck on the SHR.
there is much less interference with the seat.

Lots of updates on the e46 m3 coming up this weekend. I'll let a few pics do the talking.

I'll also be installing Schrick Cams as well as delete my stock cluster and replace with AiM MXS/MXG

Also waiting on my new Cobra Seats

10-12 psi, though make sure you replace the plastic line every 5 years or so. I had an old brittle line burst on me on a new engine bay a few years back, yuck!
