Replaced intake filter and cabin air filter for my friends E93 M3!

Hopefully the weathers nice enough for me to able to finally take my car out to the dealership, just been sitting in the garage for a few days now

In my honest opinion, the roads are getting slicker every time it rains, in all our of cars I feel like they're all sliding, even in my dads Highlander which has brand new all seasons

Attempted to realign and clip in the side skirt with the wheel well, then realized why it didnt clip in as the clip itself was broken lol.

Replaced headlight bulbs on my dads highlander, doing intake filter next, with spark plugs on his car too.

Going to attempt and change the spark plugs on my moms Civic tomorrow, should be easy.

slowly learning at doing this stuff on my own, YouTube helps quite a bit.

Way to go Gary, you will find there is nothing you can't do (within reason) and you will be doing most of the maintenance on the E90. It looks daunting but it's actually a fairly easy vehicle to work on.

Got my mandatory annual Virginia inspection done. Free car wash. Then it rained before I could pick it up and get it to the garage.

Well said.

There are a few things the equipment I own simply doesn't allow me to do, namely a lift to competently do things like lower engine / trans work. But 90% of the maintenance and repairs on these cars can be accomplished with a capable socket and wrench set, a solid torx kit, and a set of ramps / jack stands.

I personally love turning my own wrenches. It not only saves me a truck load of money, but it's infinitely more satisfying.

Did a full detail and finally ordering all parts needed for a good service.
Spark plugs, Air filter, Fuel tank breather, Coolant sensor, and about to order throttle actuators.

Changed the spark plugs and cleaned the air filter. Debating if I should pick up the Quick Jack, it is on sale right now at costco. Very tempting...

Could not agree more. Perfectly stated.

Plus you know your car keys won't be lost (looking at you, BMW of Alexandria after my airbag recall...) and some "porter" won't "test drive" your car into a light pole.
