FYI prices dropped recently. GetBMWparts.com has them for $2300. I'm waiting to hear if they have V1 or V2 as they weren't sure. I would hope all the V1s are long gone by now.

Also noticed the price drop and interested in the v2 for the E90; has anyone found the V2 in stock? List pricing has dropped across the board it appears.

EAS has one for $4k, maybe that is V2. Way above my willingness to pay so I didn't follow up with them. |

1 Year update:
I have put about 15k miles on the exhaust and it has held up great; no cracking. The sound has gotten slightly deeper, and perhaps slightly louder, but the tone is perfect to my ear. One issue: The black inner portion of the exhaust tips has begun to wear-off. I will likely just remove the rest of the black by polishing it off, like others have done. Here is a thread that discusses this issue in detail: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1357686 Here is a picture (not mine, thanks FMLYSDN ): |

Nice. Found someone selling the MPE v2 for $1,600.00. Going to have to jump on it.

I have the MPE v2 and absolutely love it. I've been on the fence about going catless but now thinking about the RKP - Street X Pipe since I would keep the cats on. I know I wouldn't get the same performance as going catless but curious if anyone has this setup.
I have a Dinan intake and Stage 1 (Alpine) tune. I could go catless and get stage 2 but I don't track it, at least not yet. Also don't want to smell like gasoline when I get out of my car. |
