How's the brightness? I need to replace mine and I was going to just get stock 4,300k color temperature. My Camry beater came with 5k and now I want that, but I don't want less brightness than stock tho.
The lights are defineltly brighter. Not a crazy difference but you will notice it. They are also whiter which is why I got them.

Just to give you an idea, watch this video !

Japan. Japanese people love white cars, its a sign of class and wealth sometimes also. Where I lived in Japan (Daikanyama) all the cars were white.

Yeah, euro spec bumper modded to be US 335i style. I've grown to like it

There are mainly two reasons: practicality and understatement. It's much easier to maintain than darker colors, so people prefer it. In addition, since lots of cars are white in JP, having a white car also doesn't stick out much which goes along with Japanese mentality.

As for showing luxury and wealth... black Lexus saloons/any dark colored imports are considered to be "high" class because they are usually driven by politicians or CEOs.

Replaced the tab on the left vent as DIYed here:

Purchased the aftermarket tab itself here:

https://www.venttabs.com/vent-tab-bm...2013-3-series/

The price was $12 shipped + 5-minute installation, as opposed to $65 + half-hour installation for the entire vent unit. Looks and works totally stock.

Today I tore apart everything on top of the engine to get to (and replace) the starter after my M3 refused to start last week. Once I had everything out of the way to take the starter out, I noticed BOTH of the main starter mount bolts were completely missing from the car and the top "pin" bolt was only finger tight. Not only that, the two transmission mount / bell-housing bolts that can be seen looking down were so loose that they backed out far enough I could see exposed threads.

The PO had the clutch replaced about 1800 miles ago before I bought the car. Clearly the shop he took it to did an absolute half-a$$, borderline dangerous job. I don't know if I should be pissed or amazed.

Upgraded my shifter. I love it, but it was a pain in the ass to get the base back on.

I need this. It is on my list to do along with an AutoSolutions short shift kit.

Looks good!

That's my next move! I was going to buy them both together, but I wanted to see the height of the shifter before I customized it with Ronald. Pair that kit with ultimate clutch pedal and I'll be set.

Yes....what a pain they are. They've been at the wheel shop for 5 weeks. They can't get the finish right!

Uneven finish with raw metal showing through

The OE finish had seen better days when I bought them off the previous owner.

I am hoping third time is a charm and that I get them back next week.
