It's a good idea to visit an optometrist every now and then. Seems like that script is long expired.

Took her out of storage and dropped her off just as the snow started. Airbag recall finally in stock! Also, getting a full car inspection (@325+tax) in order to keep my rust warranty.

This was after my 330 was rejected based on me not doing 2 year inspections on it.

In 2015 when I had my e46 they didn't abide by the fine print in the warranty card and just painted the car a bunch of times.

Turns out that because a mini club advertised this online and they were notorious for rusting, BMW tighten up their purses.

I've never done it before on the M but it's super low mileage so they won't find anything. Hopefully in 4 years when they do, it will be covered.

Finally finished installing the Bavauto lip. I had to design and 3D printed mounts.

Just looked at the link, this lip looks great. And for the price its even better. When you say you had to make mounts is this lip not pre drilled or do I need to drill it. Thank you, got me considering it now but they are out of stock thanks for buying the last one.

Power upgrades

In Apr-2017, added a VF620 SC, Autowerkes Exhaust, and replaced the rod bearings for a peace-of-mind. DynoJet results are 580 WHP @ 7400 RPM! Also added Toyo R888’s to gain traction and minimize traction control from slowing me down,,,

So. There are holes on the underside that allow you to access the factory screw and holes on the bottom side of the front bumper. I can share my 3D files if needed. What I did was I put the 3DP mounts on using the factory holes and screws. And then mounted the lip to the bumper with the double sided tape AND then I screwed the bumper into the mounts. So yes, with my method you do have to drill the lip. But not the car. You can remove the lip in the future without fear.

How do you feel about the overall quality of the carbon fiber. Fitment looks pretty good maybe just wish it sat a little more flush on the front part but for $350 I can live with it. Thank you!
