[First E92 M3 in MD | IB]

@ Tischer in Silver Spring, MD. . Yes I know, I made the original thread on E46fanatics- but thought that I would share here too with the excitement of all the M3s hitting the U.S.

Well, I had NO clue that the new M3 doesn't have crash test ratings OR rollover. That isn't...good. I don't plan on crashing, but still comon! Also, look at the aggresive stance difference between the E46 and E92, ridiculous how the E46 seems to be more aggresive, from the rear atleast. But I love ass so..

Keep in mind, these are still iPhone pics because someone (Teckniks with Estoril E36 M) STILL HAS MY CAM EQUIP, but its for a good cause, DRFT event baby :craig:

Some paper

Now; the car.

Next to its father. The king :craig:

Stance comparo. E92 on 18" and E46 on 19". Both stock.

Could you elaborate some more on your comments from e46fanatics?

Particularly:

"NOT aggressive AT ALL. The difference between a standard E46 and the M model is pretty drastic. Where as this compared to the 335- makes it look like a 335 ZHP."

It reads like you were a little disappointed. Great pics btw!!

K ^.

If you look at a E46 330i, then take a look at the M3- it is a complete change. From fenders, sportier bumpers, wheels everything. When you see a E46 330i coming down the street followed by an M3, you can tell which is which. Even girls I knew from highschool could tell the difference.

Now, the E92 M3 is not that different from the 335i. It has different bumpers but I wouldn't call them any sportier- the fenders look if not a tad bit wider- the same as the 335. The only thing that really says "M3" is the hood and if the car has a CF roof.

I just think it is disappointing that the car is so plain. As is the E60 M5 vs the standard E60 and the E63 M vs the standard. I don't know why they are making the cars which are supposed to be slightly outlandish so boring.

That is something I forgot to mention^. The sedan. The sedan on the other hand is pretty nice. Looks muscular. I adore it. True, the M3 by any means faster and handles better than a 335, and I would want one too- but because I cannot afford ANY of the Ericsson parts- I dunno now :/ Plus I like the tuning potential of my car- but that will soon be fully avail for the E92.

Keep in mind, you can always make a 335 faster than any M3. With Turbos, anything is possible
