Drive shaft torque settings

Anyone know the correct torque settings for the drive shaft bolts please?

I tightened mine to the TAF spec. No problems.

seriously though, i wasn't able to find anything useful when i did mine.

drive shaft to diff flange is 20NM joining torque + 90º

i got under there with the 3/4" torque meter i have and it just wasn't happening. very limited room under there.

Use a small torque wrench to get to 20 nm then eyeball the 90 degrees.

Note on these is Bmw says you should use new bolts. Damn Germans.

I am reusing them too. This practice of needing new bolts for everything is insane.

i re-used most of the bolts, but i ended up stripping one. fortunately bmw had one in stock. i literally bought the last one they had, so maybe buy a few for spares.

Ordered new bolts for the gearbox end, but the mech said to re-use the bolts on the diff end.
