with the windows down, you don't even hear it. i think the only reason you hear it in this video is the widows are up. the likeness of the camera being mounted on a cage would also increase the diff whine noise.

Mine is on a ship slowly making its way here, along with the M24 hood. Ty IND!!!

Ordered it back in summer of 2017...damn it's taking a while to get here...I did also choose the ship vs air method but, can't wait to hug it!

Will definitely post some. Placed the order in September 2017 I think, took a while to make and I chose slow shipping to save on costs...$5k for the intake and $2k for hood is a hard pill to swallow

I found a pic online though

Whoa 5k for an intake. I have near heard of this piece until this thread and saw people mention it was expensive but damn that's more than I thought. Add in 2k for the hood and you could have had a supercharger. Cool for you though doing something different can't wait to see the car and pics but for myself I will be ordering a supercharger for about that same price next month. What's the reason you chose this kit? Looks, function? Any Dyno specs with it?

For that money, I dunno...you could get a lot more useful stuff than a blingy intake. But hey if I have too much cash burning a hole in my pocket, I'd probably do the same.

The noise alone is intoxicating. Plus I sold my home, bought another one and had spare cash to treat myself.

Need to get on that crypto mining next!

thanks for posting those pics! are you doing this performance mod alone? i've always been fascinated with improving the intake of these cars... especially with what M24 has come up with. are you going to go as far as doing a before/after dyno?

Once I change plugs and oil, I do want to do a pre and post dyno comparison.

I was also thinking of doing cams with this, and might look into also polishing the heads. Will come in handy as I might build a 4.4L engine his year as well, got my hands on a fresh Dinan stroker block recently

Very cool, congrats.
Also those HREs (not sure what model, looks like a monoblock 441R) on the Z3M look awesome.

Love the clean look. The curve of the section from the filter to plenum looks 'smoother' than any other intake I've seen!
