All my arc-8 (black) are bent so they would need to be sent back for replacement. The EC-7 are good (silver).

yea, i get it. its not a 10k truck, its just a 2002 nissan frontier i use solely for offroading. it leaves the garage about twice a year. it is paid for, so there isn't sales tax to avoid. i'm trying to avoid california smog. i want to run a fuel cell and move the catalysts so i can do what i want with the front suspension links. using a fuel cell would allow me to carry more fuel and i won't have to bring containers. it will also allow me to run a more efficient rear suspension (four link). the truck would literally be safer to run, but the engine would run the same. california isn't interested in that though.
i'm on the fence on whether or not i'm going to try it.

Just didn't want you to end up regretting it. If you have a truck, why do you need the fuel cell for more fuel? Trucks carry 6-gallon jugs really well. Used to have 4 of them in the bed of the pickup truck and another one filled with 100 octane to mix with the 91 crapola from the gas stations when I had to refill the 4 jugs. Fuel cells are safer, but they raise the center of gravity.

It would take up some of the space where the oem gas tank is, and extend into a more central part of the truck. For long trips, I take two five gallon jugs that hold about 6 gallons each.
The attached pic is how I typically pack it. Space is limited because the rear coilovers extend into the bed.
The main goal is to run a four link rear suspension and outboard the shocks a bit more.

Gotcha. I used to love my transfer flow in bed 70 gallon tank in my 1996 F350 crew cab diesel. 1000 mile TOWING range! Usually didn't have to fill the truck going to a race. Loved it!

i have a crush on the 2018 f250's. i want the platinum trim with black leather and all the good stuff. single rear wheel. can't swing it right now though... too damn long and doesn't fit into the budget while saving for a house to accommodate it's size.

the ultimate retirement goal... gooseneck trailer with living quarters, with a small storage area, plus a flatbed portion.

That is a good space saver. My garage is terrible man. I think it is like 19x10x9. One of those things wouldn't even fit, but I do have some overhead space next to my bikes and Rusty Wallace flag that hangs from the ceiling joists!

i found a cool youtube channel when pondering about ducting. i can see this being an easy way to create ducting similar to the hard motorsport 3d printed pieces.... use regular ducting, then flatten it out where it would make contact with the tire.
this stuff is cheap enough to have some fun experimenting with!

I've been working with composites for a while now on my Z4MC.
I have a few things planned for the M3, including an aramid splitter/undertray for the front.

For one off complex shapes, I use styrofoam for the shape and then wrap in plastic film, then layup your composite over it.
The styrofoam is then sacrificed by dissolving it.

i could also see a type of clay being useful then splitting the mold and gluing it back together.

Or... using regular brake ducting and routing it how you would want the hard ducting to be. Then, poke holes in it and shoot expanding foam into it to keep the mold- then make a mold out of that. I think that's what I'll try.

So I'm washing the car and swapping pads and I find this ring around the rear hat on the passenger side. It is only on the passenger side. It is lined up with the outer pad, but the pad looks normal. I'm 100% sure this didn't come from the pad. Any ideas?
I'm not too worried about it because I have a new rear bbk ready to go in.
Maybe a rock flew in there?

That would be my guess.
Ive had small rocks get trapped on the caliper that made a mark.
In my case it made one hell of a screeching noise, so I got to it right away.

Definitely 3 mile. It's the original. Both are good, as well as the combined 5 mile, but start with the 3 mile.

They come powder coated matte black, but I opted for a "raw" set to have them painted to match my hood. Going for that "oem+" look.
