compatibility? Supersprint xpipe non res with OEM muffler

Hi guys,

Can i run an SS xpipe non res with my oem exhaust ( acm mod)? Or would there be any fitment issues?

Also would that be insanely loud?

I think anything paired with ACM mod will be loud.

Test pipes (which retain the OEM secondary cats and resonators) are extremely loud when paired with the ACM exhaust.

I've had a catless RPI xpipe with a Borla ATAK and I only lasted a month with that setup. Too loud for me.

ACM mod is a straight through which completely cuts out the absorption chambers, with no cats or resonators its going to be ridiculously loud.... and not in a good way.

fitment will not be a issue, might be a bit loud.

I thought the SS Xpipe wouldn't bolt up to OEM exhaust. The connectors are different design.

This is correct. According to SS, it is designed to work only with a SS rear section, BUT can be modified to work with other rear sections.

Bottom line is that it is not going to just bolt on.

Damn lol

What kind of modifications would it need?
