As far as the transmission, have the GTS software uploaded. You can do it yourself but some people insist on paying vendors to give them slower versions of the software BMW made available for free.
This will make a massive difference.

Your only solution is to get a tune to remove the CEL. Foulers, etc basically don't work. DeleteR doesn't do anything useful.
I suggest you read up on tunes and tuners. I suggest ESS or Evolve or EPIC, but any moment you'll have 36 fanboys come recommending X or Y.

Ok, I think I will ask my local vendor see what they can offer for tune.. As far as the GTS software goes, I will also ask my vendor, do they just upload/update via OBDII for the GTS software, how does it work usually?

Is there any DIY on this? I coded my F series and have the cable for my e92 I just don't know the process.

do you have the coding software installed? The GTS software lives in the Daten file so all of us who code actually have the BMW software for free!
