V-banded Test Pipes
I've been looking into potential test pipes setups that would make it easy to swap the cats back in when it's time for emissions testing. Looks like the best and easiest solution I've seen is the v-banded setup that MotoIQ did on their project E90. I could do a separate x-pipe, but that requires a lot more work when you have to swap. So my thought is pick up some rogue engineering test pipes, have them cut off the cats, then weld on the v-bands to both.
Has anyone else tried a setup like this? What are your methods for an easy cat swap? |
