This past weekend, the wife and I drove from Seattle to Spokane and back--on a car hunting trip for BMW 2002s! For about 50 miles of nearly deserted Highway 2, I maintained 80-110 mph. My wife, who generally frowns at such antics, was absorbed in her reading, and barely noticed, except for once or twice when I passed a slower car and kicked it down a couple gears. The car rolled on like a freight train, steady and solid, barely breathing hard. I think it was grateful for the exercise--it returned 20.9 mpg!

These are amazing cars.

I haven't seen 20mpg since I first got the car haha. Glw finding a 2002, they are fun honest cars to blast around town or up at the canyons.

Got it! Noticed a difference in throttle response, I have no tune yet but I'm sure it made a difference in making the pick-up smoother and quicker. If you pair it with a tune you will get much better gains!

in the long run does the neochrome finish peal off? Or is it quite durable?

It shouldn't peel. The knob is titanium with a burnt finish.

Just installed these as well. Throttle response is just a bit sharper when not in Power mode. Sometimes I mistake it for being in Power mode.

Same here! The car is a lot smoother and a lot more linear than before I noticed.

^That seriously sucks. That old man needs his license revoked before he kills someone, it's ridiculous that people with that much liability are allowed to throw around 4000lb metal ping pong balls at others.

I fixed my leaky oil cap by using some high temp silicone to glue it to the back of the cap. It seems to have stopped the oil making its way through the underside of the rubber seal. Even with a new oil cap, I've had a problem with oil seeping out after supercharging, probably due to the extra boost.
